I appreciated the hotel's great location, which made exploring Bath very convenient. however, the cleanliness and housekeeping left much to be desired. While the staff at reception were friendly and attentive, issues with room maintenance and breakfast service significantly affected my stay.
Rooms

The room was a spacious size, and I enjoyed having a bathtub. Sadly, the cleanliness was seriously lacking, with dirty sheets and a foul smell that remained throughout my stay.
Service

The staff at reception were welcoming and helpful. but the overall service, especially during breakfast, was disorganized with long waits and limited options. I felt that many were not adequately trained.

The gym was too small, with only one weights bench. It's not suitable if you're looking to exercise during your stay. but I did appreciate the complimentary water and snacks in my room.

I had mixed experiences during my stay at the Apex City of Bath Hotel. While I appreciated the hotel's location and modern amenities, the cleanliness issues and service lapses really put a damper on things. The staff was generally friendly, but I encountered significant problems with room service and cleanliness that left me frustrated.
Rooms
5.0
The room was modern and spacious, but I uncovered cleanliness issues that should have been addressed more thoroughly. I found stains on the bedding, which was quite off-putting. Plus, some rooms overlooked less than appealing views, which was disappointing.
Service
5.0
Though the staff were friendly and helpful, the service had its downsides. Room service was often late; I returned to a messy room multiple times. Communication regarding the restaurant and discounts could have been clearer, too.
Location
9.0
The location was excellent, right in the city center. It made exploring Bath super convenient, with shops and attractions within easy walking distance.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast offered a good range of choices, but I felt the dining service didn't match the hotel’s reputation for quality. I had to wait too long for tables and for orders to be taken, which was frustrating.
Facilities
5.0
The pool area looked lovely, but my experience with it was marred by the lack of proper bathrobes and cleanliness. Overall, the hotel facilities seem nice but fell short on maintenance and upkeep.

However, my family and I faced a series of issues, particularly with room assignments and dining that somewhat overshadowed our experience.

The staff members were mostly friendly and eager to help. However, our requests for amenities and issues at the bar were not handled efficiently, leaving us a bit disappointed.

The pool and sauna facilities were lovely and relaxing. I was, however, frustrated by the need for advance bookings to use them, which I wish I had known about beforehand.

I had a solid stay at the Apex City Of Bath Hotel. The location was spot on, making it super easy to explore all the sights in Bath. The room was nice and spacious, but I couldn’t sleep well because of noise from the neighbors. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit, so that made up for some of the bumps.

The hotel is in a great central location, just around the corner from the center of Bath. It was so easy to walk to nearby attractions and restaurants, which I loved.

I didn’t try the breakfast because it seemed a bit pricey, especially with cheaper options nearby. But the snacks during the conference I attended were pretty decent.

The swimming pool was a highlight for my stay. It was small, but my kids loved the jets and features. I also took advantage of the spa facilities which were relaxing. Just a heads-up, make sure you grab a token for the changing room.
